DeKalb County Trails
DeKalb County offers a growing network of trails that invite residents and visitors to explore the outdoors, stay active, and enjoy the beauty of our communities. From paved paths through parks and neighborhoods to wooded natural routes, each trail provides a unique way to experience the county’s landscape.

The map highlights not only current trails throughout DeKalb County, but also proposed routes that will expand access and strengthen connections between our communities.

Looking ahead, future projects like the Auburn Junction Trail will connect the Auburn-Rieke Trail to the regional Pufferbelly Trail, creating an important link in the vision for the Poka-Bache Connector—a multi-county trail system connecting northeast Indiana communities and state parks.
